We’re proud to have launched one of our most exciting and innovative social enterprises yet, The BeefWagon, in partnership with Warson’s Farm.
Our new gourmet burger truck trains up ex-offenders and at risk youth to become street food masters, giving practical experience and employment. Our Members are paid a steady wage and all profits are split with them so that at the end of their courses they’ll have enough capital to purchase their own equipment. The course stretches from food hygiene and sourcing the freshest ingredients to mastering the sales patter, all while serving London’s finest burgers on our new truck.
Available for £6.50 for the classic cheeseburger with onion relish, all profits from our burgers go directly to Only Connect and The BeefWagon.
The total cost of sending six Members through the programme for a year is just under £75,000, and we’re actively fundraising to ensure that we can make this happen.
