CAMDEN COUNCIL SKILLS WORKSHOPS
Construction Skills Show
Come to the Kings Cross Construction Skills Centre on 28th Feb to take part in an interactive workshop, in our “have a go area” so you can learn more about construction. It’s going to be an extremely interactive day where students will learn a lot about the trades we deliver at the centre, staff will be available on the day to answer any of your questions.
There will also be representatives from Camden & Islington Councils, K10, JTL Training and Screwfix specialising in Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry.
You will also be able to see a skills competition between current electrical, plumbing and carpentry students.
Available workshop times are:
9.45 am to 10.30 am
10.45 am to 11.30 am
11.45 am to 12.30 am

Celebrating National Apprenticeships Event
If you are looking for a construction apprenticeship and want to find out more about how to apply for apprenticeship roles, this is the event for you.
- You will meet the advice and guidance teams from the King’s Cross Construction Skills Centre.
- Find out what is happening on the King’s Cross Development and in and around Camden in regards to apprenticeships, training and employment opportunities.
- Sign up for apprenticeships
- Presentations and workshops with local employers with a chance to speak to them about career development. Meet representatives from Construction Industry Training Board and Job Centre Plus.
- Talks from training providers
- Tour of the skills centre and demonstrations
- Attendees should be at the centre for 9.30 am on the day
- Eligible for Camden and Islington residents aged 15 – 24
